Overview

Gavin McClure is an Associate in Scheef & Stone’s Corporate & Business Practice, where he focuses on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business formation, and other contractual issues. Gavin also works with the firm’s Commercial Litigation team to advise companies on how to resolve business disputes favorably and efficiently, assisting with matters such as corporate divorces, shareholder disputes, regulatory compliance, and executive compensation.

In addition to his law degree, Gavin holds an M.B.A. from the George Washington University School of Business. This unique combination of legal and commercial expertise translates into practical and strategic counsel that helps his clients navigate business decisions, minimize risk, and achieve their long-term goals.

Experience

Before joining Scheef & Stone, Gavin spent time as a strategic business consultant for the Southeast Asian ridesharing app Grab, traveling to Vietnam as part of GW’s Global MBA Program. Gavin also worked as an associate with Samsung Electronics America in its Mobile Division, headquartered in Plano, Texas, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Karen Gren Scholer, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas.
