Overview
Byron Henry is a Partner in the Appellate Law Section of Scheef & Stone, LLP with his practice focusing on the areas of business litigation and civil appeals. He is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Henry was recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson-Reuters in 2010 and has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer in Appellate Law by Thomson-Reuters every year since.
Experience
Mr. Henry has filed papers and briefs in numerous state and federal trial and appellate courts including the Supreme Court of the United States, Supreme Court of Texas, the Fifth and Sixth Circuits, and successfully argued cases in a number of Texas courts of appeals. Mr. Henry also provides advice to clients and attorneys on legal and business strategies, as well as trial support in complex civil cases in the area of experts, summary judgment, jury charge practice, and post-judgment motion practice.
