Byron’s prior experience as in-house counsel for a major international institution helps him better understand his clients’ needs and businesses when it comes to working with mid and large sized organizations. Byron has coordinated deals from raw idea through to conclusion and actively participates in the decision-making and business process. Byron is attuned to business issues and to the importance of timing in a business transaction as well as exit strategies. He focuses on meeting his clients’ business objectives and believes that high-quality work delivered efficiently is critical to his clients.

When his clients are in the market to buy, Byron advises his commercial real estate clients interested in the purchase and sale of notes secured by real property. Additionally, he helps guide borrowers who manage commercial loan and project finance transactions secured by all forms of real and personal property including inventory, machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures, negotiable and non-negotiable instruments.

Byron’s over 25 years of experience as an attorney in the real estate industry provides him the opportunity to be an advocate for his clients in a variety of different transactions. For example, as a champion for his clients developing properties in urban settings, Byron negotiates with appropriate municipalities to help projects move smoothly and efficiently through the municipal approval process. Byron counsels banks and other lending institutions on various loan transactions such as resolving distressed and defaulting loans as well as loan foreclosures and modifications.
