Overview

Brenda Neuwirt focuses her practice in the area of civil litigation, with experience in bankruptcy, business, commercial, employment, real property, and trade secrets litigation. Additionally, Ms. Neuwirt handles numerous oil & gas matters and estate planning matters.

Experience

Prior to joining Scheef & Stone L.L.P., Ms. Neuwirt practiced at Passman & Jones. Ms. Neuwirt also served as law clerk to the Honorable Paul D. Stickney, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Texas.

Successfully represented a manufacturer in national class action lawsuit.

Obtained a permanent injunction in federal court against a copyright infringer.

Successfully defended both employers and former employees in cases involving covenants not to compete and trade secrets.

Representation of Chapter 7 Trustee in multi-million dollar adversary proceedings.

Successfully regained mineral rights for a group of landowners.

Represented executors, trustees, and beneficiaries in various estate and trust matters.
