Overview

Mike Kobus is an Associate in Scheef & Stone’s Litigation section. Mike was a law clerk at Scheef & Stone before becoming an Associate, and he brings a diverse background in civil litigation, gained through experiences at the Boston College Legal Services Legal Assistance Bureau (LAB) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. His dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for clients is evident in his strong advocacy skills and meticulous approach to legal research.

Experience

Mike began his legal journey as an intern at James Waite Law, where he honed his research and writing skills in leasing and international projects. His role as a judicial intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals gave him invaluable insight into judicial processes and enhanced his ability to craft compelling legal arguments. At the Boston College Legal Services LAB, Mike represented clients in housing and unemployment matters, demonstrating proficiency in litigation strategy, negotiation and client communication.
