Another year, another successful Stuffed Animal Toy Drive! For the past 25 years Real Estate Partner Byron Prescott has collected stuffed animals for Children’s Medical Center. Each stuffed animal is placed in the bed with a child right after surgery. Thank you to everyone at the firm who donated!

Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL), 2017 Launch a Leader Scholarship Fundraiser Luncheon kicked off today at Park City Club. Partner Charlene Koonce is a board member of EWL, and we are proud to support her and EWL’s efforts in providing scholarships to deserving non-traditional college women.
Rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. The client survey covered topics such as experience, responsiveness, the understanding of business needs, integrity, cost-effectiveness, and clients’ willingness to refer.

Scheef & Stone Partner, Mark L. Hill, Chaired the Collin County Bar Association inaugural Trial Academy – which came to a close this week with a Reception honoring the first class. The Trial Academy brought together Collin County Judges and numerous experienced practitioners from various practice areas, to instruct a class of 15 new attorneys on all facets of trial presentation. Congrats to all and job very well done!
