From the outset of her career, she distinguished herself through her ability to successfully guide clients through high-pressure disputes which require clarity under pressure and navigate cases from inception through final appellate review.

Shirley cultivated a multi-jurisdictional practice focused on high-value and high-profile matters, and has represented prominent institutional and private clients, including in large-scale complex commercial and energy disputes, and fraud recovery litigation. Notably, she played a central role in international cases that secured the recovery of billions in securities fraud litigation, establishing her reputation for meticulous advocacy in matters that demand both strategic vision and courtroom precision. Her judicial role further highlighted her depth of legal knowledge, impartiality, and ability to balance competing principles of justice in complex proceedings.
