Overview

Addressing clients’ needs in all forms of intellectual property, Keith Rawlins works closely with clients to identify their IP assets, secure protection of those assets in all relevant jurisdictions, manage portfolios as they evolve, and defend assets against unauthorized use and infringement.

Keith is highly adept and experienced in assessing, preparing, prosecuting, and managing U.S. and international patent portfolios, as well as providing legal opinions and analyses for non-infringement and invalidity of patents in the United States and abroad. He is also sought by clients for his experience in preparing, prosecuting, enforcing, and managing trademarks and copyrights, as well as drafting IP agreements of all types, including licensing. If and when disputes arise, Keith is fully prepared to support his clients in negotiating settlements and, when necessary, in litigation.

Keith’s dedication to cultivating long-term relationships with his clients has resulted in roles serving as clients’ “in-house” outside IP counsel, which has enabled him to implement internal processes for streamlining and managing their intellectual property based on a thorough knowledge of the clients’ products, business practices, competitive position, and more. Further, understanding his clients’ internal processes has provided unrivaled efficiency and a solid foundation when working with these clients from the outside.

What few know about Keith is that he is also a classically trained percussionist.
