Haley Jones
Overview
Haley Jones is an Associate Attorney dedicated to representing clients in many practice areas, including labor & employment, corporate, real estate, and probate matters.
Haley counsels large and small employers on terminations, separation and release of claims agreements, and all other aspects of employment agreements. She also has experience with business formation, securities law compliance, and general corporate counseling.
In addition, Haley practices in the Estate Planning & Probate section, crafting solutions for individuals and families that address their goals and protect their assets. She counsels clients through the formulation, drafting, and execution of both simple and complex estate plans.
Whatever the size and type of their matter, clients rely on Haley’s meticulous, business-minded approach to their legal challenges. She is known as a responsive, dedicated advisor who keeps her clients’ overall goals in mind throughout every engagement.
Haley began her internship with Scheef & Stone in 2023 and continued with the firm through her graduation from law school.
Haley earned her Juris Doctor from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2024. While in law school, she was a Student Attorney at the SMU Small Business and Trademark Clinic, where she assisted small businesses and nonprofit organizations with various legal matters, as well as filing trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Haley was a member of the Women in Law and Corporate Law associations. During her undergraduate years at Texas A&M University, she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority and participated in Best Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing opportunities for one-to-one friendships, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
