Overview

Christopher Missimo is a corporate, business, and real estate lawyer who leverages almost a decade of experience as a business owner, in addition to his legal acumen, to help domestic and international businesses. He is dedicated to counseling startups, new businesses, and experienced businesses with all their transactional needs. He is passionate about serving businesses so they can focus on their craft. He practices in the areas of entity selection and business formation, startup transactions, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, disputes, commercial acquisition and sale, and commercial leasing. He also has a passion for serving businesses in the sports and entertainment industries.

Experience

Christopher Missimo graduated cum laude from Texas A&M School of Law. He also received his Masters degree from Sam Houston State University and his Bachelors degree from Baylor University. During his time in law school, he developed experience working for Justice Womack in the 2nd Court of Appeals, for Vaquero Ventures developing skills in commercial real estate, and for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club developing skills in general corporate law.

In addition to his legal career, Christopher co-owns and operates Avanti Counseling & Consulting, has been a licensed counselor since 2016, and has owned and operated a business in the counseling, sports psychology, and/or fitness industry for a total of nine years.
