Integrity and intelligent advocacy are the cornerstones of Walker Young’s practice. Mr. Young’s experience working under various judges and government agencies provide him with a unique ability to develop cost-effective litigation and negotiation strategies that efficiently meet his clients’ objectives.  His ability to quickly assess the impact of legislation and craft a flexible strategy for success makes him an invaluable asset to any legal team.

Having clerked for the Eleventh District Court of Appeals and the Eastern District of Texas, Mr. Young brings with him considerable insight into the Court’s decision-making process and the advocacy necessary to achieve his clients’ goals.  Mr. Young’s time in chambers has also made him very familiar with federal motion practice and state appellate procedure.  He has interned for the Honorable John Culberson in the House of Representatives, and various Justices in a variety of different Court of Appeals for the State of Texas. Mr. Young also has experience working for federal and state agencies including the Federal Trade Commission and the Texas Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection.

Mr. Young received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist School of Law where he was elected treasurer of the Student Bar Association.  He also participated in the Phillip C.
