The first team the Rangers face on their path to the Pennant are the Toronto Blue Jays. Dallas area law firm, Scheef & Stone, L.L.P., will be hosting the Consulate General of Canada in Dallas for a watch party over a traditional baseball-themed lunch. Scheef & Stone, L.L.P. is excited to invite our office building “neighbours” to enjoy the friendly rivalry between the U.S. and Canadian teams.

“Both the Rangers and Blue Jays had very exciting comeback seasons,” the firm’s Administrator, Brenda Conine, said. “But I know the Rangers will make us proud. At the very least we get to meet our ‘northern’ (two floors up) neighbors from Canada.”

The Consulate General of Canada in Dallas represents Canada in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. It is one of 13 Canadian diplomatic offices across the United States supporting Canada/U.S. relations in areas such as security and defense, energy, trade and investment, environment and the border. The Dallas Consulate General also provides assistance to Canadians living or traveling in these states.Founding Partner, Bill Stone, confirms everyone in the firm is excited to network with the local Consulate General at the upcoming watch party.

“Visiting with the Consulate will be an excellent opportunity for us to gain additional international perspective on issues facing Canadian businesses and Americans doing business in Canada,” said Stone. “We also look forward to providing insight on the various domestic industries and commercial legal matters we counsel our clients on daily, all over some hot dogs, apple pie, and baseball, of course.”
