Kyle Cheves

ASSOCIATE

Overview

Phillip “Kyle” Cheves is an Associate in Scheef & Stone’s Litigation section.  His practice includes resolving disputes surrounding private securities fraud, breach of contract, arbitration disputes, and copyright litigation.

Prior to joining Scheef & Stone, Kyle attended Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. While in law school Kyle interned for Judge Patrick Higginbotham at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Harlin Hale at the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Texas. His previous federal court experience and time in the chambers supplies him with perspective on disputes that may affect businesses and the advocacy necessary to reach a resolution.
At Pepperdine, Kyle was a Palmer Business Fellow and served as the Business Editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law. Kyle also served as President of the Intellectual Property Student Association. For his undergraduate studies, Kyle earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Sports Management from Southern Methodist University.
When Kyle isn’t finding solutions to complex disputes for his clients, you can find him on the basketball court or golf course.  He also enjoys cheering on Dallas area sports teams.
