Justin R. Simmons
Justin Simmons weaves his experience as a former HR Director and residential real estate Asset Manager in the counsel he provides his clients. His experience in being on the side of the table as a client provides him a unique and intuitive perspective on different scenarios his clients face on a daily basis. Mr. Simmons’s practice focuses on securities litigation, oil and gas litigation, and real estate litigation. His clients include a broad range of industries, including commercial real estate, construction, insurance, oil and gas, medical, and transportation.
When Mr. Simmons is not creating business solutions for his clients, you can find him on the golf course. Prior to attending law school, he played professional golf on various mini-tours and tournaments in the US, Canada, and Europe.
While Mr. Simmons has experience dealing with business and real estate transactions, he is no stranger to the courtroom. Prior to joining Scheef & Stone, Simmons was an Assistant District Attorney in Collin County where he oversaw prosecution of misdemeanor cases and assisted in the prosecution of felony cases. Simmons has also worked for the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas and Judge Bob McCoy in Tarrant County Criminal Court Three.
