Christian Cowart is an Associate in the Litigation and Appellate Law Sections of Scheef & Stone with his practice focusing on the areas of business litigation and civil appeals. Mr. Cowart represents both individuals and corporations on a diverse range of complex commercial matters, including violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Mr. Cowart is experienced in all phases of litigation, including conducting and defending depositions, drafting and arguing evidentiary and dispositive motions, and negotiating settlements with adverse parties to secure favorable settlements for his clients.

Before joining Scheef & Stone, Mr. Cowart attended Baylor University School of Law where he served as the Senior Notes & Comments Editor for the Baylor Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Cowart gained invaluable experience working as a summer associate for Walters Balido & Crain L.L.P. and Philips & Epperson Attorneys, L.P. where he drafted an appellate brief for an indigent appellant in the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas. Mr. Cowart also worked for Saraiya PLLC where he prepared and filed state, federal and international trademark applications for numerous entities, as well as developed and drafted real estate lease agreements.
